Are there online support or help files?

 

Answer: Contract Insight includes online documentation and unlimited e-mail help for our hosted software.

 

Question:

What web servers are supported?

 

Answer: Contract Insight Contract Management Software support Microsoft Internet Information Service (IIS). IIS can be run on a Windows 2000 Server (or better).

 

Question:

Do you customize/configure your product per additional client requirements?

 

Answer: Yes we will customize Contract Insight to your requirements. Please send a list of requirements to info@cobblestonesystems.com and we will send you a quote.

 

Question:

Does Contract Insight track centers or departments?

 

Answer: Contract Insight handles tracking by Department and Location as well as categories and status code.

 

Question:

What type of support and maintenance do you offer for your contract management tracking software?

 

Answer: Yes. The support and maintenance is included in our web-based system as a part of the monthly fee. However, if you purchase our client/server versions rather than our web-based version, the support and maintenance is 20 percent of the client/server product price.

Does the Contract Insight software include an ad-hoc query tool?

 

Answer: An ad-hoc query tool and custom report builder is included.

Does the system support automatic e-mail alerts?

 

Answer: Yes Contract Insight includes an e-mail alert module. 

 

Question:

Does the system track main contracts and subcontracts?

 

Answer: Contract Insight can handle Contracts and Subcontracts or Sub Tasks. You can view the main contract and subcontract listing on one screen and click on the subcontract link for the subcontract details.

 

Question:

Does your product have the ability to support multiple "companies" from a single installation?

 

Answer: Yes, we have implemented our Contract Management Web system to support multiple companies on one server. Please e-mail us for more information concerning how we can customize our software to meet your specific needs.

 

Question:

Is Contract Insight Contract Management System available as a stand-alone (non-hosted) product or hosted as an Application Service Provider (ASP)?

 

Answer: The most common purchase is to have us host Contract Insight for our customers in our High Availability Hosting Center. Hosting can be very beneficial to your technology staff and reduce operation costs. However, we do offer Contract Management Web as non-hosted product (installed in your organization). Contact us for more information.

 

Question:

Is hosting our applications on the web secure?

 

Answer: We take all available means to secure our customers data and our data alike. We believe that if our customers are satisfied with our services that they will return for more services in the future. Our systems are hosted on Microsoft Internet Technologies utilizing Windows 2000 Server, Windows 2003 Server, .NET, and MS SQL Server, dedicated firewalls, monitored ports, monitored logs, backups, failover facilities, private webs, private databases, and server scans; all with username and password authentication. We also provide dedicated Windows or third party digital certificates such as VeriSign and Thawte as an option. 

 

Question: What type of scanner and scanner software do you recommend?
  Answer:  We do not have any preference. We do recommend an industrial class scanner with an automatic, multi-page document feeder.  We implement our systems using HP ScanJet's, KodaK, Xerox, Brother Multi-Function Machines, Fijitsu, etc.

We do recommend that your scanning software support an export or "save as" a Mult-Page TIFF Format. Check with the scanner manufacturer first. We have been very successful using PaperPort scanning software by ScanSoft (http://www.scansoft.com).

Is there a user manual online?

 

Answer: Yes, please refer to our website.

Is there any training offered?

 

Answer: We offer several online manuals and documents. Additionally, we offer training that is via the web or on-site.  Please contact us at info@cobblestonesystems.com to price a training program that meets your needs.

 

Question:

Is there the ability to attach document images to the contracts?

 

Answer: Yes, multiple files and images can be uploaded to the contracts. "TIF" format is preferred, but Contract Insight can support any file format including documents, spreadsheets, voice mail, e-mail, text, bitmaps, and more.

What are the advantages of hosting with CobbleStone Systems?

Question:

What database does Contract Management Web utilize? What databases does it support?

 

Answer: Our web-based systems are design using Microsoft SQL Server 2000 (or better) database. We apply the latest service packs and plan to keep our database platform up-to-date.

What is the operating system and technology that the system is hosted on?

 

Answer: The Contract Insight software is hosted on MS Windows 2000 Server or MS Windows 2003 Server, MS SQL server database, .NET, and Internet Information Services (IIS).

What reports are included?

 

Answer: We have several standard report views. Please refer to the online demo to review the views. Contract Insight include a custom report builder and ad-hoc query tool.
 

Question:

Can ad-hoc reports be saved and assigned to users?

 

Yes, Contract Insight supports the ability to save reports and assign users permission to view them. You can also export and save your reports to any data format.
 

Question:

Are global user defined fields supported?

 

Yes, Contract Insight supports the ability to add user defined fields. It includes a feature to create user-defined fields such as text boxes, text areas, dates, money, numbers, drop down lists, and attachments. You can create specific fields per contract type--that gives you the flexibility of tracking the data for each type of contract. And you can query and report off of any field.
 

Question:

Can all reports be exported and e-mailed?

 

Yes, Contract Insight supports the ability to create custom reports and send your reports via e-mail. You can also export and save your reports to any data format.
 

Question:

Is there a custom ad-hoc reporting tool included?

 

Yes, Contract Insight includes an ad-hoc query and custom reporting tool for free. This enables you to query and report off of any field.
 

Question:

What type of support do you offer?

 

Answer: Support is included in the monthly subscription price. We offer unlimited e-mail support and phone support 8am to 5pm EST with your subscription.
